There are now increased calls to slow down reopening following comments from the Tanaiste and Dr. Tony Holohan complaining about big crowds gathered in Dublin to enjoy the sunshine over the weekend.
Mr. Holohan found himself ‘absolutely shocked’ at the sight of people, and former Taoiseach appointee Leo Varadkar expressed that ‘these are not scenes we want to see.’
An extension of the lockdown beyond July might now be in the cards.
