Indian army claims to have captured proof of the mythical Yeti in Nepal

The Indian army has posted photos it claims are of footprints belonging to the supposedly mythical
creature, the Yeti.

The photos were posted on twitter by the Indian army’s mountaineering expedition team on April 9 and were taken in Nepal near the Makalu Base camp.

The legendary cryptic, also known as the Abominable Snowman, due to its reported huge size, ferociousness and snow white fur is a mainstay of folklore in Nepal with reports of sightings dating
back to antiquity.

The creature, which is regarded in a similar vein the North American Bigfoot, is said to inhabit the Himalayas as well as wilderness in Central Asia and Siberia.

The Indian army also said that sightings were made of the creature itself near the Makalu-Barun National Park.
