Hugh Cooney wants adults, but particularly men, to listen to their body and learn for the mistakes he made. Go for all examinations, fill out questionnaires properly and not take any shortcuts.
He was diagnosed in 2013 with bowel cancer. He said he passed blood prior to this and he said he didn’t look into it. He has urged people to come forward and ask their doctor if they see anything that’s irregular.
Hugh has been in business for 40 years, has a wife and 5 children and said that family is extremely important to him. He said it’s the most important thing is in his life. He said one of his happiest memory he has is the fact he could walk all of three daughters down the aisle.
Chris stressed the importance of early detection, not to leave it too late and to listen to your body.
