Nearly 5,000 Intel staff in Ireland are today gearing up to hear their fate, as up to 400 jobs may be cut across the company’s Irish operations.
Intel announced last week that it would be shedding 12,000 jobs worldwide, as the company restructures to fit a changed computer market.
It is understood that the job losses will include a mix of voluntary and compulsory redundancies.
