Investigation continues after a large number of cars were stolen in Co Clare

An investigation is underway by GardaĆ­ following the theft of six vehicles in County Clare, reports RTE.

The cars were reported stolen earlier today from a business premises in Darragh.

According to GardaĆ­, one of the stolen vehicles has already been recovered.

The remaining missing vehicles include a 2014 blue Audi S3 Saloon, a 2017 navy Mercedes CLA180, a 2015 black Volkswagen Golf, a 2014 white Volkswagen Golf, and a 2018 white Toyota CHR, reports RTE.

A technical examination was carried out at the scene, and GardaĆ­ are appealing to the public for any relevant information.

They are particularly seeking camera footage from road users, including dash-cam recordings, who were driving on the N68 between 1am and 5am, reports RTE.

GardaĆ­ are also urging the public to watch out for any of the stolen vehicles, which could be offered for sale or left in public car parks or residential areas.

GardaĆ­ stated that ā€œinvestigations are ongoing,” reports RTE.
