
A man from Ireland passed away in Portuguese detention, reports Breaking News.
The Donegal native, 29, is said to have been discovered dead in his cell on Wednesday morning.
He is thought to have been taken into custody in Albufeira after allegedly stabbing his partner with a knife.
According to the Department of Foreign Affairs, consular assistance is being provided and the matter is being monitored, reports Breaking News.
