Police in the North have launched an investigation after a man aged in his 40s was shot in both arms and legs in a paramilitary-style shooting in Derry.
The investigation comes after the man was shot in Kurin Lane area of Garvagh, Co Derry, at approximately 10:30pm.
Police say a number of masked men broke into the man’s home were they beat him with a metal bar and then proceeded to shoot him.
It is understood the 45-year-old man is currently in hospital receiving treatment for his injuries.
