Gardaí in Co Kildare have confirmed that an investigation is underway after a young girl was allegedly assaulted.
It is understood the investigation comes after the girl was allegedly assaulted by a number of boy’s in the Castledermot area.
Gardaí say the alleged is said to have occurred on Thursday November 14th.
They added that investigations are currently ongoing.
