An investigation is underway at Letterkenny University Hospital after a second patient file was reportedly found on the streets.
According to Donegal Daily, the second such incident was reported after a female patient at the hospital told them that her file was found outside an apartment building in April.
It is believed the file belonging to the woman who is cancer patient was found in High Road in Letterkenny.
The latest such incident comes after it was reported that a patient file belonging to an elderly woman was found in McGlinchey Park recently.
