An event at a UK care facility has resulted in the discovery of three bodies and the hospitalisation of four others, according to authorities, reports RTE.
The remaining occupants at Gainsborough Care Home, located on Ulwell Road in Swanage, have been evacuated to a secure place, and emergency personnel are on the scene.
A Dorset Council councillor told the PA news agency that there is a “suspicion” that “this could be attributable to carbon monoxide but it has not been proven,” despite Dorset Police saying the deaths are presently being regarded as unexplained.
The national gas emergency service for the south of England was summoned to the Gainsborough Care Home in Swanage earlier, according to Katie Lobban, a spokesman for SGN, a gas distribution firm, reports RTE.
