An 80-year-old pedestrian has died in hospital after colliding with an electric scooter in Dublin, reports RTE.
The collision happened on Eccles St, Dublin 7 around 3pm on June 20.
The woman was taken to the Mater Misericordia University Hospital after the collision and died. An autopsy is scheduled, reports RTE.
The investigation is ongoing and one person has been arrested in connection with the case. He was later released and the case file sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
An appeal has been made for witnesses, and the gardai say that all road users who traveled in the area on June 20 who may have camera footage (including dash cam footage) are asked to come forward, reports RTE.
