Just when we got over one storm it appears that another may be on its way. Met Eireann, the national forecaster has warned of the possibility that a severe storm might strike Ireland either by Saturday, or early next week.
If the storm hits on Saturday then it would mean that the election polling would be severely affected, in particular to those who need assistance to get out and vote.
Met Eireann has highlighted that there’s still a degree of uncertainty about this however, and that stormy weather might also arrive on Monday.
The overall outlook is for very unsettled weather next week.
