Ireland is safe? Gardai investigate after two men and woman battered and beaten in Galway city

GardaĆ­ have launched an investigation after two men and a woman were injured in separate incidents in Galway City over the bank holiday weekend.

On Friday night, a young man was attacked on Abbeygate Street Upper at around 10pm and was treated for facial injuries, reports Breaking News.

Anyone with information about the assault is urged to contact Galway Garda Station on 091-538000.

In a separate incident in the early hours of Monday morning, a man and a woman in their 20s were assaulted on Dominick Street, reports Breaking News.

Both victims were taken by ambulance to University Hospital Galway, where they were treated for injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.

GardaĆ­ have confirmed that investigations into both incidents are continuing, reports Breaking News.
