Ireland make it two from two in Six Nations with bonus point win over Wales




Ireland have made it two wins from two with a 24-14 victory over Wales at the Aviva Stadium this afternoon.

In a much improved performance at a windy Aviva Stadium Ireland took the spoils with a bonus point win over their Welsh counterparts.

Ireland who looked much better than last week, took the spoils as tries from Larmour, Furlong, Van der Flier and Conway gave Andy Farrell the perfect start to his maiden Six Nations campaign as head coach.

Despite strong Welsh pressure in the second half, the Irish defence held firm although the Welsh did score a second try late on with the game out of sight.

Wales 14
Tries: Williams (27), Tipuric (80)
Conversions: Biggar (28), Halfpenny (80)
