The current heatwave shows no signs of abating, as temperatures keep rising with every passing day and today is no different.
The highest ever temperature recorded in Ireland was 33.3C, and some forecasters now say that this record could be reached, or even passed this week.
The good news is that the current spell of fine weather is set to last until the weekend, and possibly into next week with slight outbreaks of showers on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Long term forecasts still say Ireland will be seeing around 20c for the next number of weeks.
Let the good times roll!
