

Ireland could be battered by strong winds and heavy rain early next week as Hurricane Helene is making its way towards the country.
Although Ireland will not experience Hurricane like conditions, the South West coast is expected to bare the brunt of a powerful storm.
According to weather experts at Carlow Weather the Hurricane which is expected to be downgraded to storm satus will arrive on the South West coast at approximatley 2am on Tuesday morning.
It is expected that the storm will bring winds in the region of 110kmph and heavy rainfall for much of Tuesday.
The impending storm is down expected to travel eastwards as Tuesday progresses but forecasters at Carlow Weather have suggested that weather patterns could considerably change by then.
