An Irish adventure centre has been forced to close due to extortionate insurance costs.
Squirrel’s Scramble in Co. Wicklow closed its doors for the last time today after being asked to fork out €88,000 in insurance premium. The center had paid €26,000 last year.
A spokesperson for the facility blamed the lack of competition in the insurance market in Ireland for the exorbitant quote.
