The Covid-19 app developed by Waterford based Nearform at the cost of nearly €1 million has received a new update.
The update adds Covid-19 vaccination statistics listing the number of people who have received their first vaccination and number who have received the second follow on vaccination.
The uptake of the app has been slow and there’s anecdotal evidence that the Government has abandoned the app due to their lack of advertising of the service. The Tracker app was touted by the Government as an essential tool to Limit lockdowns and the spread of the virus
