The Ulysses vessel will remain out of commission for an additional week or two, RTE has confirmed today.
The craft was put out of service for repairs late last month, and was supposed to be back on the sea by the fourth of July.
The problem turned out to be more serious than previously anticipated however, so the Ulysses will stay at dry dock for at least another week or two.
Irish Ferries’ has been plagued by disruption this summer, as a brand new ferry, the W.B. Yeats was supposed to enter service and cover the Ireland to France route. The craft is yet to be delivered.
