The Irish Freedom Party along with other groups and individuals will take part in a march to defend freedom of speech in Ireland on Saturday, December 3rd as the government moves ahead with so-called “hate speech” legislation.

The march will start on O’ Connell Bridge at 1pm and there will be a walk to the Minister Helen McEntee’s Department of Justice in St. Stephen’s Green where various speakers will outlining their reasons for supporting the right to freedom of expression of all people.

The government have been eager to impose curbs on Irish citizens’ speech for several years but had previously backed down in the face of public opposition.

Justice Minister McEntee’s renewed push for the thought crimes legislation comes as the government seeks to silence Irish people opposed to the new migrant plantations of the country which has seen the tourist industry destroyed and public services brought to breaking point.
