Irish Government to donate €5m in funding to help Palestinian refugees




The Irish Government have confirmed that it is to donate €5m in funding to help Palestinian refugees.

In an announcement made on Tuesday, the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs Simon Coveney, confirmed that €5m in funding will be give to the UN Agency for Palestine Refugees.

Speaking about the donation Coveney said the funding will help over 5 million refugees who have been affected by the trohbles in the Middle East.

He added that Ireland is a long standing supporter of the UN Agency for Palestine Refugees, and the funding will help provide valuable resources to those in the region.
