Irish journalist calls out former colleague and friend Claire Byrne for pushing propaganda

Journalist Aisling O’Loughlin best known for co-presenting TV3’s Xposé since 2007 has spoken out about her former colleagues, in particular Claire Byrne, “pushing propaganda” about the Covid pandemic and the Orwellian lockdown.

O’Loughlin, who was a close friend and colleague of Claire Byrne, said that the RTE host is “pushing propaganda that is endangering the lives of the beautiful and wonderful people of Ireland” and is “pushing out bias and unbalanced reports that can only be described as propaganda”.

The fearless journalist has been outspoken in recent months in her criticism of the government’s Draconian lockdown, something utterly taboo in the mainstream Irish media circles and most recently spoke out in support of Pat Sweeney.

Pat Sweeney had his children seized from him by the Gardai in the middle of the night after he filmed and exposed members of the force shutting down a mass attended by just a few people in Athlone and put to the them that they have refrained from shutting down packed Mosques.

The suppression and punishment of dissent in the country has appeared to reach a tipping point and with more people like Aishling O’Loughlin speaking out the desperate attempts to first ignore and now disparage those who disagree with the Orwellian society we now live in as mad, bad or dangerous will no doubt fail.
