It’s beginning to get increasing frustrating seeing thousands of Irish people being left out in the cold, quite literally, as people who have absolutely no affiliation to Ireland get housed first.

Up to 250 Ukrainian refugees are to be housed in modular homes in an Irish county.

It is understood that a site in Mahon, Cork, has been earmarked for the development.

It is unclear why the Government never extended this courtesy to the thousands of homeless people in Ireland before, or why the Government does not appear to exude the same zeal and proactiveness when it comes to its own people.
