An Irish national has been left in a critical condition after being struck by an ambulance in Australia.

The victim, named as 28-year-old Eoin Sweeney from Clonmany, Co. Donegal, was hit by the vehicle in Sydney in the early hours of Sunday morning.

A GoFundMe page has been set up to help with medical expenses.
