Irish Navy buys two boats decommissioned by New Zealand years ago




Irish Navy buyers have paid handsomely (€26m all told) for two hand-me-downs, decommissioned boats that used to be part of New Zealand’s fleet years ago.

The Rotoiti and Pukaki are now being transported by a ship carrier and will arrive in Irish waters in the near future.
