Parents in Ireland are being warned not to sell baby bath toys on eBay because of the dangers they pose.

The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission published the recall online Thursday, citing a “risk of suffocation” associated with the toy, reports The Mirror.

The notice reads: “A safety issue has been identified with Luclay bathtub Toys sold on the eBay platform. The product presents a risk of suffocation. The product’s blue spoon does not have any opening, divider or scalloped edge pattern and therefore presents a suffocation hazard because the spoon may form an airtight seal over the mouth and nose,” reports The Mirror.

This brand is Luclay but the batch number, bar code and model number are all unknown. The eBay product ID is 403752105291.

The product was sold online through the eBay platform.

If you have purchased any of these products, please stop using them immediately, discard the product and keep it out of the reach of children, reports The Mirror.
