It appears as though the Irish public are being beaten with the rip-off stick all day, every day, at this stage.
The out-of-control cost of living disaster appears to be truly alive and well, as Electric Ireland has announced another increase in its gas and electricity bills.
The government appear to either be out of touch, afraid or simply unwilling or even unable to do anything about such price hikes.
The latest increase will kick in on August 1, and it will mean that gas bills become 29.2% dearer, and residential electricity bills 10.9% more expensive.
The company already raised its prices in March.
