People are absolutely infuriated that their fuel prices are going through roof yet again. People rightly feel that the government is doing absolutely nothing to stop the problem because many of the companies are semi-State companies, partly owned by the State.
Rip-off Ireland is truly alive and well, as Electric Ireland has announced an increase in its gas and electricity prices.
According to the company, electricity is going up by 23.4%, and gas by 24.8%.
The price hikes will take effect from May 1. Social media users have been calling for more action to be taken to counteract the price hikes.
