Irish rail have released a statement in the past hour informing passengers that their main line into Dublin Heuston is closed due to a fire close to the Curragh race course in Kildare.
It is understood Local fire services are currently trying to tackle the blaze.
The line serves trains travelling into and out of Dublin from Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary, Galway, Athlone and Westport.
