Irish schoolboy Cillian O’Connor has made it to the final of hit ITV show Britain’s Got Talent after his magical performance won the audience and Friday night’s semifinals, reports The Mirror.

The autistic Cillian took the stage and drew millions of screen viewers in the final semi-final and was again used by judge Simon Cowell as part of his performance.

The Meath teenager performed a unique stunt that saw Simon jump from the judges’ table into the inside of an apple before exiting the stage himself during the performance of Judge Bruno Tonioli and “spellbinding.”

Speaking to presenters Ant and Dec afterwards, Cillian said, “I’m feeling brilliant and thanking my family over there and the entire audience,” reports The Mirror.

During Friday night’s semifinals, it was clear that Cillian had impressed the judges in the studio and the audience at home.

Amanda Holden said she was “lost for words” while Simon said, “there’s just something about you,” reports The Mirror.

“You’re so good at what you do,” Simon added, before Bruno said “we are all spellbound,” reports The Mirror.

Viewers at their homes were also impressed and went to social media to share their praise.

One woman wrote: “I’m in awe and sobbing, why am I sobbing at a magic act! Cillian you are fabulous that’s the best magic act I’ve seen! Just incredible,” reports The Mirror.
