A water charges protestor
contacted TheLiberal.ie this week with a stark notice for the government.
Gerry Malone from Dublin plans on going to the national water charges protest on November 1st.
“It’s not going to be big, it’s going to be massive”, he said.
“I heard there’s things well planned and mapped out. People in every town and parish around the country, are gathering their families, friends and neighbours to come up to Dublin for the day. Those not coming are organising their own local protests”.
“There’s a massive contingent from Dublin, people will think there’s a concert or football match happening in the city centre”.
“I believe it will be the biggest protest ever seen on this island, and the government must realise the people are together on this issue and we won’t go away”.
The national water protest starts in O’Connell St at 2pm and local protests start from 11am.
