Abtran, a Cork-based call centre doing work on behalf of Irish Water, reportedly received some ‘offensive matter’ in the post.
Security staff at the centre examined the item and they established that it was smeared with human waste.
Abtran stated that this was an ‘isolated incident’ and reported the finding to the Gardai.
