The much-hated utility is refusing to tell the amount of people who have paid up to date.
The first wave of bills were sent in April, and bills will keep doing the rounds across the country for a period of eight weeks.
However, Irish Water have today declined to answer how many people have actually paid their bill, stating that “it is in the middle of an eight-week billing cycle and therefore could not produce accurate figures.”
Irish Water officials said that revealing such information would “not be helpful at this stage.” According to them, the figures would be revealed by the middle of July.
