Irish woman allegedly gang raped by six men in Prague was left terrified and in fear of her life

An Irish woman who was allegedly gang raped by six men in Prague, has revealed that she feared for her life during the sickening attack.

According to Czech media, the woman who is believed to be a teacher was the victim of the brutal attack after she met a man at a nightclub in the Czech capital.

It is alleged that the woman who has since returned to Ireland, was raped by six Algerian men at hostel in the city on Easter Monday.

The men who have since been arrested by Czech police authorities, could face up to ten years in prison if found guilty.

Media reports in the Czech Republic say a court has since heard testimony provided by police on behalf of the alleged victim.

The court heard that the woman was left in fear of her life during and after the alleged attack, it also heard a detailed description of how the men allegedly attacked the woman and how she felt during the terrifying ordeal.

It is believed the six accused are from respected families that are widely known to others in Algeria.
