An Irish woman has sadly passed away following an incident in Melbourne Australia on Friday.
According to Donegal Live, the 26-year-old was tragically killed after a tree struck a taxi she was travelling in.
It is believed that the incident which occurred at approximately 4pm Irish time also left another woman seriously injured.
The Department of Foreign Affairs have confirmed that they have been made aware of the incident and are currently providing consular assistance to the woman’s family.
