An Irishman has sadly passed away while on holidays in Portugal.
The deceased, a father of three, was named as Kerry native Tom Griffin. It is understood that he went kite surfing at Fonte de Telha beach in Almada, near Lisbon, shortly before his death last week.
Local authorities say that Mr. Griffin reportedly fainted on the beach and died a short time later.
