An Irishman has died after becoming Ill whilst mountain climbing in Kenya.
It is understood that the man aged in his 40s became ill whilst climbing Mount Kenya on Thursday.
The man who was rescued was taken to Nanyuki Cottage at approximately 6am but he sadly passed away.
The Department of Foreign Affairs hace said that they have been made aware of the incident and they are currently providing consular assistance.
