ISIS leader Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi reportedly killed during special forces raid in Syria

Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi, one of the world’s most wanted men, has reportedly been killed during a special forces raid in Syria, according to American authorities.

Al-Baghdadi, the man in charge of the ISIS terrorist organization, is said to have blown himself up after being cornered by special forces operatives. Al-Baghdadi’s two wives are also said to have died in the explosion.

The man’s remains have yet to be positively identified, however, casting doubt on the outcome. Al-Baghdadi proved in the past to be particularly cunning and resilient. He had been reported as dead multiple times, but later resurfaced somewhere else.
