A terrorist has attacked a policeman with a knife and ploughed his rented truck into a group of pedestrians on Canada’s Edmonton’s busiest downtown street.
The man, who drove the truck at high speed, is in custody following a high-speed chase around 7am Irish time through streets filled with bar-goers and local football fans. The chase ended only after the white U-Haul van struck four pedestrians and crashed over on a side street.
Police found a large ISIS flag in truck when the Islamic terrorist was finally subdued.
The condition of the four people who were hit by the truck is still not known. The policeman is said to be in a serious but stable condition.
