Isle of Man ends lockdown and social distancing measures

The Isle of Man have shown what life can be like again after it ended lockdown and social distancing measures.

In a move that has seen the island returning to some sort of normality the manx government decided to end lockdown on Monday after 20 days without a case.

The Government have also ended social distancing measures which means businesses can reopen and schools can return.

The lifting of restrictions comes after the Government imposed a 25 day lockdown to halt the spread of the virus on the island.

Although the Government have warned that citizens should be vigilant, they have hailed the lifting of restrictions as a moment of relief and celebration.

Under the current measures life on the island can return to normal but its borders remain closed to entry for non residents.
