Israeli government has reported that the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine is only 39% effective but still prevents severe illness.
The Jewish State had originally has led the way in its Covid-19 vaccination programme and was the first to publicly identify cases of heart inflammation and the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccination in young men.
The delta variant of the Chinese virus also now dominant strain in Israel according to a new report from the country’s Health Ministry which is also the case in several other countries and is quickly becoming dominant in cases recorded in Ireland.
There have been increasing reports in recent weeks of people who had been double jabbed against Covid-19 contracting the disease with some cases of people being hospitalised and even dying despite the vaccine.
