There’s been absolute uproar from locals yet again after the statue of the late Luke Kelly has been targeted by vandals.
Some locals are now saying that the statue may have to be moved as a result.
It is understood that the statue which is located on Sheriff Street was targeted on Friday night when vandals covered it in red paint.
The latest act which is the fifth in less than 12 months has been blasted by Councillor Christy Burke who called on those responsible to grow up and get a grip.
