“It won’t help in the slightest” – People aren’t happy with €0.80 an hour increase of the minimum wage

The Cabinet has approved an €0.80 rise to the minimum wage, bringing it to a grand total of €11.30 per hour from the beginning of next year.

Social media users are saying that it’s utterly disgraceful and an attempt to buy votes by increasing the minimum wage to €11.30 per hour.

Many workers are saying that the increase just doesn’t go far enough and won’t help them in the slightest.
