Italy may be headed for a snap general election that could see nationalist parties in the country grow even stronger in parliament and government.

The country’s immensely popular, populist Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini has called for a snap election, saying the current coalition government between his Lega Party and the Five Star Movement has become unworkable.

Both the country’s current parties in government are anti-establishment and have provoked the ire of the EU and wider globalist elite for opposing the population replacement agenda being foisted on Western European countries.

Deputy PM Salvini has also led the charge against EU imposed austerity and has placed the needs and will of the Italian people ahead of the demands of the Brussels which has sent shockwaves through the bureaucratic elite of the bloc.

Polls have shown the right-wing, nationalist Lega party growing from strength to strength and it is forecast they would likely acquire a share of the vote large enough to become the leading partner in coalition government following the next general election.

The Lega Party will now present a no-confidence motion in the country’s Senate in its push to dismantle the coalition and force a general election.
