Ireland has enjoyed a mini-heatwave of sorts, with temperatures topping 27C in places today.
However, the forecast for the rest of the week is for more moderate 16-17C, with a lot of cloud cover.
Widespread rain is also forecast to put an appearance over the next three days, but early predictions point to a good, dry, and sunny weekend ahead.
