More restrictions look very likely to be imposed on the Irish public once more as NPHET and the government met last night to discuss the situation which appears to be spiralling out of control.
The government sought further details from the National Public Health Emergency Team (NPHET) on where Covid passports could be used outside of the hospitality sector.
The issue was discussed by the Cabinet Covid Committee, where Ireland’s Chief Medical Officer Dr. Tony Holohan met with the Taoiseach and senior ministers.
It’s understood that the government will require covid certs for gyms, hairdressers and barbers over the coming days.
