“It’s not good enough” – Stories continue to grow that Ukrainians are turning down Irish accommodation saying that it’s not good enough for them

Stories have emerged on social media over the past number of days that Ukrainians who have arrived in Ireland have turned their nose up the accommodation that they were offered.

According to various parties, some Ukrainian migrants allegedly said that the accommodation wasn’t up to scratch, that there were no en-suite bathrooms and that some places were “too small”.

As 11,000 Irish people lie hopelessly homeless around the country on park benches, doorways, streets and hotel rooms, many people are asking why aren’t the government looking after Irish people first rather than Ukrainians.
