Ivan Milat, one of Australia’s most infamous serial killers, has died in hospital aged 74.
Milat was serving several life sentences after being convicted of the killing of seven backpackers in the Australian outback during the 1990s. He is also suspected to have killed at least three other people whose bodies were never found.
The killer had been diagnosed with terminal cancer back in May this year.
The 2005 movie Wolf Creek was partially based on Milat’s killings.
