Convicted killers Molly and Thomas Martens have accepted a plea deal of voluntary manslaughter, following a court hearing in the United States.
The pair were convicted of the killing of Irishman Jason Corbett at the home he shared with Molly Martens in August of 2015. Their murder conviction was recently overturned and they were granted a retrial.
The killer pair were offered a plea deal for voluntary manslaughter and have accepted it. It means they could face up to 17 years in prison – or be freed entirely without any further jail time.
