A total of 468 admitted patients were waiting for hospital beds across the country, reports Breaking News.
According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO), 293 of these patients were in emergency departments, while 175 were waiting in wards.
University Hospital Limerick had the highest number of patients waiting for beds at 116, followed by University Hospital Galway and Sligo University Hospital, reports Breaking News.
